Our female inmate sewing program at the South Placer Jail is one of them, and we are proud of one inmate in particular, who recently won a First Place award at the Placer County Fair! Woodin received a shadow box commemorating Zayn’s retirement. Zayn retired in May of 2020 when Woodin was promoted to sergeant. Zayn was presented with some dog toys, which he excitedly ran around the office to show off to all of his old co-workers!
