May 22, 2015 · Wear in dates: constantly slipped. Dungarees never went away. They were always authorized. People just stopped buying the Utilities, so the Navy decided to dump it and go back to dungarees. The thing to remember is that for personal clothing, nothing is "ISSUED" after recruit training. It is ALL OUT OF POCKET.

May 22, 2015 · 1972-1980 ( ish). Paint locker PO. Usually a Senior deck Seaman, or BM3. He’s wearing the trousers of the Zumwalt utilities. And what appear to be a new pair of low cut Oxfords. We got 2 pair of Oxfords and a pair of soft toed Boon Dockers. It was pretty common to wear a pair of Oxfords when the boon dockers wore out.

Sep 25, 2013 · Of special note are the "Issue" caps for the Navy Utility uniforms. Had a plastic pannel in front that did not hold up to wear well. The PO 2 in the ceter with long john top under his short sleeve shirt, also a common sight. and the CPO on the left with his shirt cuffs rolled up, classic! I would almost say that the guys NOT in CG utilities ...

Jul 21, 2009 · As I mentioned above I have something like four different styles of utilities pants issued to the same WR, plus two styles of utility shirts and a pair of culottes (skirt-like shorts) apparently for utility use. I have no doubt your HBT garrison cap was worn with utilities as were the khaki caps and, as seen in the photos below, some floppy caps.
