The better card for groceries is the Citi Custom Cash, which automatically pays 5% cashback on up to $500 spend per billing cycle in a single (highest-spend) category, which could be Groceries (or Gas, or Dining, or any of a number of other categories listed on Citi's site).

The time saved by getting deliveries will be huge. However, I’m confused about being asked to tip the driver for the delivery.

Many times I have ordered birthday or Christmas gifts for my son and family and they are delivered like that. Now grocery delivery is different they are a third party contracted through Walmart to hire drivers to deliver.

As a Walmart grocery customer, I agree. It sounds like OP saw a discrepancy between the online price and in store where walmart.com was $10 cheaper, but Walmart grocery pickup charges whatever the in store price is, so it's probably just that the in store price was higher.

Buying food at the super Walmarts will also code as ‘general merchandise’. In person, green Walmart. Edit since you edited- ya looks like you are SOL on that one, sorry to say.
