NVIDIA board partners expect GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 to …
Apr 8, 2024 · People bought the RTX Titan which retailed for $2500, then they bought the 3090 ti for $2000. So is it any surprise people would buy the 4090 for $1600, which is technically far cheaper than the last two generation's top GPU prices? To be fair, when we are buying a $1600 card, it would be like we are spending $1300 if it were five years ago.

Upgrade to 4080 super or wait for 5080? : r/pcmasterrace - Reddit
anything over 140 is hard to tell the difference. I had a 1440p monitor 240hz Alienware and got ultrawide 165hz. I cannot tell on pubg between the two. The companies use brain washing ads and youtuber to push their stuff. Just think in less than a …
Should I build with 4080 Super or wait for 5080? : r/pcmasterrace
Apr 11, 2024 · Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, NZXT H6 Flow ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker. This, but with more case fans. (and I got combo deals when I bought it) Would this give the "headroom" for future 50XX or whatever? (Not that I would buy a 50XX if I stay with a 40XX, upgrading every generation seems silly)
Is it weird to stick with 1440p gaming and get Rtx 5080?
You said it all in your second to last paragraph. Assuming the 5080 and 4080 are relatively similar performance levels for their gen, 5080 will be a great card for 1440p. 5090 probably will be too, if you want high fps and longevity. I hate this trend of saying such and such a card is a …

Will the RTX 5080 be faster than the RTX 4090? : r/graphicscard
With the rumors I've seen surrounding the 5090 suggesting a 50% faster card and a large increase in Cuda core counts, I see the 5080 being about as fast as a 4090 or beating it by a max of 5-10%. That's if the 5090 rumors are true.... Power draw should remain the same as current Gen and/or the 5080 requiring around 450w.

Core i7 14700K for RTX 50 series : r/buildapc - Reddit
Dec 13, 2023 · The reason I bought an i7 14700K now is because I wanted to make it easier for myself to pay for an RTX 5080 next year, otherwise I would have to spend a huge amount of money for everything (motherboard + ram + cpu + gpu). Obviously no one knows how RTX 50 series or Arrow Lake will be like, I just wanted to get some opinions and speculate a little.
