Jul 8, 2024 · DeMar is a winning Ironman type player that should bring a great mentality to the locker room. I didn’t like the swap with the Wemby/Spurs and thought negative Barnes/Huerter should’ve at least been paid off with 2nds, but Spurs had a monopoly on the cap.

Jan 26, 2025 · It's a unique case. He has the points and a good chunk of individual accolades, but also has some really ugly blemishes. I can't find another guy on that list that isn't either from the 60s or very clearly way better than Demar Derozan.

DeMar is a 6x All Star, he has one All NBA 3rd team selection. He has been a "market generator" getting interest for a franchise during a time when their likely contention was non-existent.

6 days ago · Mann is having a horrid year, but I have little doubt he can bounce back, and granted, he's not as good as DeMar, but DeRozan would be an atrocious fit as he needs the ball to be effective on offense, taking away from the free flowing game when Harden sits, and has little gravity to the arc to spread the floor when "the system" is in the game.
