Edmonton Oilers left winger Jeff Skinner received a second embellishment citation, which comes with a $2,000 fine, the NHL announced Monday.

Skinner was issued a Warning following an incident flagged by NHL Hockey Operations during NHL Game No. 103 vs. Carolina on Oct. 22. His second Citation, which triggered the $2,000 fine, was issued for an incident at 10:33 of the second period during NHL Game No. 332 vs. NY Rangers on Nov. 23.

Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch pointed out a few times last season, including in the playoffs, that Leon Draisaitl didn’t get to skate enough with top-quality offensive wingers. Skinner, a six-time 30-goal scorer, fit the bill.
