In what was somehow not the strangest ending to a Thanksgiving weekend NFL game, the Kansas City Chiefs survived a Black Friday scare against the division rival Las Vegas Raiders thanks to a combination of bizarre game management and a perhaps even more bizarre penalty ruling.

A mistimed snap by Las Vegas rookie center Jackson Powers-Johnson with just seconds left denied the Raiders an opportunity to kick a potential game-winning field goal

While the Raiders were lining up with just seconds left to go, while in field goal range, the ball was snapped, much to the surprise of Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell, who couldn't come up with the loose ball.
