Michael Cole, who as a star of 'The Mod Squad' was one of an iconic trio in late-1960s television, has died. He was 84.

The show, about three hippies who become undercover crime fighters, ran from 1968 to 1973. Mr. Cole had been the last of its three stars still living.

Cole was the last surviving regular cast member from the 'Mod Squad' series, after Peggy Lipton died in 2019 and Clarence Williams III died in 2021.
