Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale is out of the hospital after undergoing open-heart surgery Tuesday, according to a social media post made by the Precinct 4 Constable's Office.

In the video, Mattress Mack shared his appreciation of prayers and support following his open-heart surgery that took place on Tuesday. Mattress Mack even cracked a joke saying he misses his Mack Zcliner over the hospital bed he's currently recovering in. Mack added he also misses his Tempur-Pedic mattress as well.

Mattress Mack is going under the knife. The Houston-area furniture proprietor, whose real name is Jim McIngvale, has gained notoriety nationally because of his wild promotions for free furniture if local sports teams win championships. He funds the promotions in part by placing sizable futures bets on the outcomes.

Without proper treatment, a leaky mitral valve can cause irregular heart rhythm and heart failure, according to the Mayo Clinic.
