Florida State Sen. Ileana Garcia introduced a bill banning weather modification in the state, giving credence to conspiracy theories alleging that Hurricanes such as Helene and Milton were the product of human tampering.

The language of the bill appears to refer to the chemtrails conspiracy theory that claims the government is chemically modifying the weather.

A Republican in the Florida Senate introduced a bill to ban activities that would change weather patterns. Although no such activities exist that have the ability to change the weather, state Sen. Ileana Garcia introduced the “Weather Modification Activities” bill to prohibit any actions that would affect the weather.
