A dog is home safe and warm after she fell through the ice of a pond and was rescued by fire crews in Fort Collins Thursday morning.

LOVELAND, Colo. (KKTV) - On Thursday, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority shared a daring rescue of a horse stuck in icy waters. Firefighters said a horse found its way through a fence and onto a frozen pond near South County Road 13 in Loveland. The ice couldn’t hold the weight of the horse, and it fell into the frigid waters below.
