Patna: A third-year B.Tech student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna allegedly ended his life by jumping from the roof of a building on campus in Patna's Bihta on Tuesday, police said.

Nirmala Sitharaman also announced that IIT Patna will see expanded facilities. The total number of students in 23 IITs have increased 100 per cent from 65,000 to 1.35 lakh in the past 10 years.
