Google has appointed Preeti Lobana to lead its India business, filling a key position that had been vacant since Sanjay Gupta's promotion to Asia-Pacific Google has named business chief and former banker Preeti Lobana to head its Indian operations.

Tech giant Google on Monday announced the appointment of Preeti Lobana as the new country manager and vice president for India. She succeeds Sanjay Gupta, who recently transitioned to an elevated role as President of the Asia Pacific region at Google.

Google appoints Preeti Lobana as its new Country Manager and Vice President for India, replacing Sanjay Gupta. Lobana brings over 30 years of experience in leadership roles across technology and finance.

Lobana, who previously served as vice president overseeing Google’s publisher, partner, ads content teams, and gTech, takes over from Sanjay Gupta, who was promoted earlier this year to president of the Asia Pacific region.
