Apple is reportedly looking to release a pair of smart glasses by the end of next year in a bid to compete with Meta’s AI-powered glasses, the Ray-Ban Meta.

Apple is planning to debut its first pair of smart glasses next year, according to a report from Bloomberg. The upcoming glasses will reportedly come with cameras, microphones, and speakers, “allowing them to analyze the external world and take requests via the Siri voice assistant,” Bloomberg says.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that Apple aims to release smart glasses by the end of 2026. This product would be equipped with cameras, microphones and speakers so that a wearer could interact with the Siri voice assistant.
