More rounds of rain are expected to land across metro Phoenix this week, keeping the cooler temperatures and breezy conditions around for a little longer. A couple of weather systems were expected to carry on with the series of storms that began rolling across metro Phoenix on Tuesday last week.

Weather in metro Phoenix this week will start off warm, but many on spring break should prepare for possible rain with two separate storm systems expected to move into the Valley.

Rain has arrived in the Valley and it's expected to stay a while. Forecasters say the storm has started Tuesday night, but it will intensify through Thursday and likely Friday.
