James Ward-Prowse has returned to West Ham United after the Hammers and Nottingham Forest mutually agreed to end his loan spell at the City Ground. The midfielder, 30, made 10 appearances for Forest, who thanked Ward-Prowse for his "professionalism and dedication during his time at the club".

The Englishman has played just three times since Christmas, totalling just 18 minutes of action, and was not even in the squad for Forest’s 7-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.
