American Airlines has settled a lawsuit involving the case of a teenage girl who was reportedly secretly recorded while using the bathroom during a flight from Charlotte to Boston.

American Airlines and the family of a teenage girl who accused a flight attendant of recording her in an airplane bathroom have reached a settlement in a lawsuit. The teen's parents filed a lawsuit in December 2023 after they said a flight attendant taped an iPhone to a first-class cabin toilet to record their daughter during a Charlotte to Boston flight.
