The Atlanta Braves could turn to an old veteran, who recently told The San Francisco Chronicle that he intends to pitch in 2025, to fill their bullpen void.
The former Atlanta Braves right-handed pitcher shared what happened that led to his offseason signing with the Baltimore Orioles.
“For now, it appears that the Braves will go into 2025 with Orlando Arcia as their shortstop,” Kelly wrote. “While Arcia is a pretty solid defender, the former All-Star posted an underwhelming .625 OPS in 2024. Arcia can play his way out of the Braves being in the market for someone like Bichette, but he has his work cut out.”
The Atlanta Braves are addressing the persisting needs to their starting rotation. They are predicted to land a World Series pitcher.
