Apple is limping into its big summer event this year. WWDC 2025 is an opportunity for it to address concerns about its delayed Apple Intelligence AI.

Apple is set to hold its annual summer software event, WWDC, next week at its Apple Park HQ in Cupertino, California. CNET will be there to bring you all the news as it happens, including our first impressions of iOS 19.

You'd also expect lots of announcements about AI, given the way Apple Intelligence dominated last year's WWDC. But a number of reports suggest a more modest approach to Apple Intelligence this year, as Apple works behind the scenes to recover from early stumbles and to make Siri better.
