A woman and a boy were killed, and one boy was injured after being hit by a train in Roanoke, Roanoke Police Department said.

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — Two people are dead and another injured after being struck by a train Sunday afternoon. Roanoke police say they responded to the 700 block of Drew Avenue NE just before 5 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a woman and a boy dead. Another boy was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.
