The Seattle Mariners are fully chasing a World Series this season with three significant additions to the roster ahead of the trade deadline made to bolster their hopes in a wide open AL race.

In their quest to make the playoffs for the first time since 2022, the Seattle Mariners are on the verge of adding another big bat prior to the trade deadline by agreeing to acquire Eugenio Suárez in a deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto believes Seattle acquired the "best bats" available at the trade deadline, adding power to a lineup that already ranks fifth in the majors in home runs.
