The Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of a transition from one superstar to another as Lebron James nears the end of his playing career and Luka Dončić prepares to take over as the face of the organization.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers do not appear to be on good terms right now. Every report that has come out about the relationship this offseason has been negative. Most recently, it was reported by veteran NBA reporter John Gambadoro that the Lakers would like to move on from James "as soon as possible.
