Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan has invited the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance to form the government on December 5, clearing the path for Devendra Fadnavis to assume the role of Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time.

Addressing the media, Fadnavis extended an olive branch to Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, urging him to join the new cabinet.
