A Maryland man was sentenced Thursday morning for his role in a February police chase across multiple counties using stolen Maryland State Highway Administration tow truck.

Flavio Cesar Lanuza, 27, of Laurel, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for leading police on a 30-mile-long pursuit in February.

A judge sentenced a Laurel man on Thursday to 10 years in prison after he led police officers on a chase in a stolen government truck, while hitting more than a dozen vehicles, according to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
