The Hero World Challenge is enjoying a special year in 2024. Tiger Woods will be the tournament host for the 25th time this week, as his event heads to Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas for the annual season-silly kickoff. A field of 20 golfers will battle it out over 72 holes of stroke play to determine a winner.

The host won’t be playing but the field includes nine of the top 19 in the world including No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

The 20-man field for the 2024 Hero World Challenge has had some updates this week. The first bit of news came from tournament host Tiger Woods, who announced he would not be able to play in his annual bash in the Bahamas.
