The couple were found in their Middleton home at 2:21 p.m. July 8, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Wisconsin state patrol bureau director David Pabst and his wife Teri were named as the two victims of the double homicide in the town of Middleton.

The three also mourned the brother police say killed their parents before turning the gun on himself, saying he suffered from a "debilitating" mental illness.
