But Hisense has developed a new local dimming system that it calls “RGB Local Dimming Technology.” The key benefit here seems to be color vibrance:

If you don’t think Hisense is ready to compete for the title in 2025, they put everyone on notice this morning with the introduction of the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV (116UX), which could be the first consumer model to use RGB Local Dimming Technology if released this year.
