Country music star Keith Urban announced Monday that his "High and Alive" world tour will make a stop in St. Paul in September. The tour comes after the release of his 11th album, "High." He'll kick off the tour on May 22 in Alabama and will come to Xcel Energy Center on Sept.

The country superstar will perform in downtown St. Paul on Friday, Sept. 26 with the show scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting on Friday, March 14 at 10 a.m.

Urban, 57, has been a consistent presence on the country charts since his first hit, 1999’s “It’s a Love Thing.”
