Magnitude 6.1 earthquake strikes El Salvador, no risk of tsunami
A strong 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck on Sunday off the coast of El Salvador, shaking residences in many parts of the country but there was no risk of a tsunami, the country's environment ministry said on X. The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said the quake was 6.1 magnitude, at a depth of 87 km (54.06 miles).
