Hamas militants, as part of an agreement, handed over the bodies of four hostages to Israel. Among the deceased were two children, citing The Times of Israel and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The process of handing over the bodies began on the morning of February 20.

Hamas-led militants released three male Israeli hostages Saturday, parading them before a crowd in the southern Gaza Strip before handing them over to the Red Cross as part of a shaky ceasefire deal that requires Israel to release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in exchange.

Shiri Bibas, an Israeli woman, and her two young children, Ariel and Kfir, were said to be among those returned. A senior U.N. official called the Hamas display “abhorrent and cruel.”
