The Devils confirmed that the Bruins are shipping Trent Frederic and Max Jones to the Edmonton Oilers as part of a three-way trade with the New Jersey. The Bruins will get a Max Wanner, a lesser defenseman prospect, and two draft picks — a second-rounder in 2025 (from St. Louis) and a fourth-round pick in 2026.

Boston has traded veteran forward Charlie Coyle to the Colorado Avalanche, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports. Centre Casey Mittelstadt is going back to Boston in a trade featuring two American players. Coyle is in the fifth season of a six-year contract with a $5.25-million cap hit.
