The domestic assault trial of New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers begins Wednesday at Quincy District Court.
Peppers is facing charges of assault, strangulation and drug possession, following a fight with his girlfriend in Braintree back in October. According to our Boston ABC affiliate WCVB, a water main broke outside of the courthouse, and the trial was rescheduled for Thursday.
Patriots player Jabrill Peppers is charged with cocaine possession and assaulting a woman. He wants some evidence barred from the upcoming trial.
The trial against New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers is set to begin. Peppers was arrested in October after Braintree police responded to a disturbance. He was accused of choking a woman, smashing her head against the wall and pushing her down the stairs.
