UConn beat UMass to win another trophy that seems to have vanished; more bowl possibilities and other takeaways from Huskies’ win at UMass.

Ride Collective, an NIL collective for the UMass football program revealed “The Southwick Jug” that was made to represent and be awarded to the winner of the rivalry game with UConn. The Huskies ended up coming out on top during the game on Saturday by the score of 47-42.

The Minutemen fired Don Brown prior to last week’s game against Georgia. After Brown’s dismissal, the Minutemen immediately began a search for a new head coach for the program.
