Six different goal scorers propelled the Spartans to their first consecutive wins in the Duel in the D since 2016.

The home of the Detroit Red Wings transformed into the battleground for Michigan State University hockey and University of Michigan in a rivalry showdown that has lasted for decades.

The Spartans came into the weekend after a rather disappointing weekend against Ohio State. Though they were able to pick up a win last Friday, splitting with the No. 11 team in the country left a sour taste in fans' mouths, especially since MSU has split three of its past four weekend series.
