COVENTRY − A police investigation linked to the discovery of human remains, and assisted by the FBI, has repeatedly brought investigators to wooded areas in the town's Anthony section. Investigators were seen again in woods near Gadoury Street, also near Eisenhower Street throughout the day on Monday.

Multiple law enforcement agencies were back searching a wooded area in Coventry Tuesday morning. Police said the search in the area of Gadoury Avenue, near the Coventry-West Warwick town line, is in connection with a case where human remains were found.

According to an FBI spokesperson, its officials were assisting Coventry police with law enforcement activity. NBC 10 News crew observed multiple officials and a search dog investigating a wooded area near Gadoury Avenue and Read Avenue.
