Eurostar will resume services to and from Paris on Saturday after a World War II-era bomb found under tracks outside the French capital halted traffic at Gare du Nord station.

Local train and Eurostar services are disrupted at Gare du Nord station in Paris after an unexploded World War Two bomb was found nearby. The bomb was found "in the middle of the tracks" in the area of Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris, during overnight works on the tracks, local media reported.

Paris police say travel chaos from the overnight unearthing of an unexploded WWII bomb has spread to the French capital Paris’ road network.
