The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has spoken out following reports of a mysterious drone threat in New Jersey. In a joint statement with the FBI, they said there is "no evidence" that the reported drone sightings pose a "national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus.

A series of drone sightings over New Jersey and near U.S. military installations that began in mid-November has residents concerned and lawmakers demanding answers as their origins and purpose remain unknown.
