Goku shares similarities with Sun Wukong, the legendary Monkey King in Journey to the West ... that followed the adventures of the young Son Goku as he sought after the Dragon Balls.

Goku took center stage throughout all of Dragon Ball DAIMA, and nearly all the anime's best moments center around him.

The previous episode saw Son Goku fight Majin Duu. However, mid-way through their fight, they were interrupted by King Gomah who had attained a new form amidst obtaining the Evil Third Eye.
