The average fuel price in state has risen about 10 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices across the state in the last year have been as low as $4.09 on Dec. 23, 2024, and as high as $5.27 on April 15, 2024. A year ago, the average gas price in California was 5% higher at $4.48 per gallon.

Colorado gas prices stayed flat for the second consecutive week at an average of $2.89 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, same as last week's price of $2.89 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
