Upper Nazareth supervisors this evening approved a new rank structure for the township's police department and promoted two longtime patrolmen to sergeant.

Rank structure: Currently his 16-officer department is led by a chief, a sergeant and four corporals, with each corporal being a shift supervisor.

The rank of chief inspector is to be removed from Wiltshire Police following a review into the structure of the force.
