On Monday, Porzingis took to social media to offer more clarity on his illness, and the Celtics recently made a response to his announcement. In his social media post, Porzingis revealed that he has a viral illness that has not been fully identified. Regardless, the Celtics big man made it clear that he is progressing and recovering.

Kristaps Porzingis’ lingering illness sidelined him for the seventh straight game Wednesday night. After initially listing the center as questionable, the Celtics downgraded Porzingis to out for their matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder at TD Garden.
