Wind chills will drop into the single digits with accumulating snow expected Saturday evening for central and southern Indiana

Central Indiana could see its first flakes of snow this week thanks to a cold front blowing through the Midwest beginning Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Along with cooler, frostier weather, forecasters with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis say Hoosiers also can expect strong, freezing winds gusting anywhere from 30-40 mph.
