About two weeks away from the Red Kettle Campaign wrapping up, volunteers are still out ringing the bell to bring in money for the Salvation Army. Wednesday, Sam Covelli of Covelli Enterprises was stationed outside the Canfield Panera.

Salvation Army bell ringers are out in full force with Red Kettles at about 30 locations throughout the area, like one inside the lobby of the Tops on Main and Union in Williamsville. It’s a fundraising event dating back to the late 1800s.

Chances are you'll spot one of those iconic red kettles for the Salvation Army, prompting you to donate. But there's an even greater chance you won't have any cash to give.
