Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has threatened to name the Chinese spy who was revealed to have links with Prince Andrew, amid reports he also met two former prime ministers.

Britain's Prince Andrew was facing intense media scrutiny on Saturday after revelations that a close Chinese business associate of the scandal-hit younger brother of King Charles was thought by the British government to be a Chinese spy.

In a statement from his office, Andrew, also known as the Duke of York, said he accepted government advice and ceased all contact with the Chinese national as soon as concerns were raised.

A London immigration court upheld a ban on a Chinese citizen described as a “close confidant” of the prince’s, on the grounds of national security.

The Chinese businessman has been banned from entering the U.K. after intelligence services alleged he was trying to influence the British royal on behalf of Beijing.

Prince Andrew says he “ceased all contact” with a business partner and friend who was accused of being a Chinese spy once the British government raised concerns. The Duke of York had reportedly invited the businessman to his birthday party and tried to tap him for money as he sought partners for a financial fund,
