Pitt's women's volleyball team has earned the overall No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament. Pitt has been a No. 1 seed in the tournament the past three years, making it to the Final Four each time.

The Pittsburgh Panthers, a program that is 29-1 and has made the final four three years in a row, were named the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA women's volleyball tournament on Sunday, and will look to bring the ACC its first national title in the sport.

The Pitt Panthers volleyball team had a fantastic regular season and awaits their future in the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. The NCAA Division I Selection Committee will have a great deal to work with this season,
