HIRAM, Ga. — A suspect is dead following an officer-involved shooting at a Paulding County apartment complex, according to the sheriff's office. It happened at the Columns at Hiram Apartments on Bill Carruth Parkway in Hiram. Officials confirmed the scene is secure, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
