ROCKSTAR’S fiercely awaited GTA sequel is still on course for a 2025 release. Parent company Take-Two stated they will stick to their previously promised Fall release for Grand Theft Auto 6.

With the first and only trailer for GTA 6 released back in December 2023, it marked 12 months since the huge drop. But Christmas came and went, with no update on the new game that's set to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Attention then turned to the next company update from Take-Two, which is taking place at this very moment.

In an interview with Variety, Take-Two Interactive CEO (and Rockstar Games owner) Strauss Zelnick, explained that the previously announced autumn 2025 release window for GTA 6 is still on track. "We’ve announced a pretty narrow window. So I think our view is that right now, that’s fine," Zelnick says.
