Snow continued to fall Monday around parts of the Great Lakes region, where storm-weary residents who have plowed and shoveled for days faced the prospect of even greater accumulations.

It’s still snowing in the Great Lakes after it snarled travel, stranded motorists and buried homes. A short-lived break is coming before more snow arrives.

Lake-effect snow warnings remain active through Tuesday night across parts of Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania.
