Brighton agree to sign Inter Miami midfielder Diego Gomez in January
Brighton have agreed to sign Paraguay international Diego Gomez from Major League Soccer club Inter Miami. The 21-year-old midfielder will join the Premier League club when the transfer window opens on 1 January 2025. Gomez started his professional career with Paraguayan club Libertad before joining Inter Miami, home of Lionel Messi, in July 2023.

The talented midfielder is set to sign on January 1st, 2025, and will go straight into the senior team. "We're looking forward to working with Diego very soon," said Brighton 's head coach Fabian Hurzeler. "He has already made a real impression both at club and international level.
