Demolition crews are using giant saws, backhoes and other heavy equipment to remove large sections of the remaining pieces of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed last year after a container ship lost power and veered off course,

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, along with state and local leaders, toured the Francis Scott Key Bridge demolition site Wednesday morning.WBAL-TV was on the bridge and got an up-close look at the work being done and reactions of officials who walked the site.

I know I speak for everybody here that seeing it from this perspective is breathtaking,” Gov. Wes Moore said at the bridge’s southern causeway on Hawkins Point.
